Introduction

I lived in Australia and Britain for the past few years, as an academic computer scientist. Now I do quantitative finance for an investment bank in New York City. The transition was definitely for the better.

Outside the office I'm usually either fencing or watching a movie, though I've recently been writing a few conference papers in my spare time. I might be a sellout, but still want to impart my knowledge on the world.
